A series inspired by stories related to the architecture of China's borders, following on from the Chinese Architecture Memory series created in 2020.

A wall separates two that can be both attracted to and irritated by each other because of their differences. The borders between kingdoms are places where civilizations confront each other and where they meet. It is a wall, a bridge, a closure, an opening, an ending, and a beginning.
