Tone Vase by Karstudio

The "Tong" was created for the designer's living area. Since the living room is where guests are welcomed, it's crucial maintain the designer's aesthetic appeal—even for a garbage bin.

Made of fiberglass, all corners are rounded for a better integration into the space. The inside bottom of "Tong" is rounded to echo the outer curving edge in the knowledge that users would also notice this part of the product, thus it must be flawless as well. The stacking property of "Tong" is added by narrowing the lower section.

Customers like the "Tong's" design so much that they preferred using it as a vase or vessel for newspaper, film posters, rather than as a garbage bin.
